At first this task seemed very simple: take a few photos with different exposures, cut bits out of each one and stitch the smaller bits together, But once I started putting the pieces together I realized that there was a freedom to create an almost brand new picture thanks to the small differences.

While putting these pieces together I found what I thought to be: the most interesting, the harshest and the biggest differences between the photos for example I found using a mixture of the waves, some big some small, it became much more abstract and inviting to look at.

Next time I would take a couple more pictures at much different exposures to try and get some much darker colours in there, add some different angles instead of just one to give it a more abstract outcome and have some of the pieces ‘hanging off’ the edge of photo.
